Upcoming Exhibition The Brick Lane Gallery, London 19th - 25th November


I'll be exhibiting here in November along with selected artists specializing in Ceramics & Glass. The work of this collective is an intriguing mix of contemporary fired artworks of intimate scale to statement pieces. The exhibition will run for an entire week at The Brick Lane Gallery, London.

  A recent exhibition at The Public, show cased selected glass works. The range White flowers was created whilst I completed an artist residency at The University of Wolverhampton.

A selection of my crystalline glass is currently exhibited in the Lower Gallery at the Public. The works were completed as part of my recent artist residency at the University of Wolverhampton.

Textile decoupage, Countdown to SP4CE launch on 23rd September

I use textiles frequently within my practice in design, sketchbook work & the final artworks. Some examples of fabric layering with plenty of free hand embroidery. Raw fabrics from SP4CE.

SP4Ce Launch 23rd September, Ripstop Ribbons

Reception class pupils create ribbon hangings from recycled ripstop fabric, to decorate their outdoor play space.

Countdown to Sp4ce Launch, 23rd September 2013

 

Stimulation     Play     Adventure     Creativity     Education 

 

 SP4CE is an innovative creative recycling hub based in Walsall. It's a social enterprise scheme created to work with schools, communities & organisations.  SP4CE reclaims waste materials & through a membership scheme enables groups to purchase, reuse & up-cycle a huge range of intriguing resources. 

I, along with 3 other artists will be at the launch day with samples of work, talking about past projects & creating art, come along & join in. Throughout this week I will be posting various educational projects on The kiln room blog, counting down to the SP4CE launch.

new white glass, straight from the kiln..........


This is a new range of glass that I've been making at my studio, a selection is now stocked at www.frombritainwithlove.com  & a collection will be in exhibition & available to buy very soon at the The Red House Glass Cone.  Located in the Glass Quarter the beautiful C18th cone was once at the centre of our historic glass making industry.

illuminated glass vessels


Some of my kiln formed glass vessels in exhibition. Animated digital daisy projections were used to travel across & illuminate the glass surface.
